I'm a retired primary school teacher, who started paper crafting in 2008, when I had a fancy to make my own Christmas cards. Since then, I have tried all sorts of techniques and styles - and I kind of like them all. I have been lucky enough to be on blog teams and large design teams and to do a bit of freelance demonstrating - and I love the challenge of working with different products. My crafting style is very varied - from junk journaling and art journaling, bookbinding and journal making, to quilting and patchwork - and of course I still make cards. This variety keeps me interested - and my crafty stash growing!! I'm always seeking inspiration for new projects.

Day 55 - and Day 2 of sharing previous makes!

Evening! Not been working today - but still had a lot on. We have had our Gas and Electric meters changed to Smart Meters - which took a couple of hours of no power. Then I went for a run. And this afternoon I have been sewing!!

But today I am sharing my second make as part of the Crafty Friends challenge. I didn't realise yesterday, but I should be sharing makes from last year - and I shared one from 2014 - but I'm sure the world won't stop because of it.
This one is definitely from last year - February to be precise - and you can find all the details here. This one was for another mixed media challenge - this time a journal cover. I really enjoyed making this - with so many different elements.
