About Me

My photo
I'm a retired primary school teacher, who started paper crafting in 2008, when I had a fancy to make my own Christmas cards. Since then, I have tried all sorts of techniques and styles - and I kind of like them all. I have been lucky enough to be on blog teams and large design teams and to do a bit of freelance demonstrating - and I love the challenge of working with different products. My crafting style is very varied - from junk journaling and art journaling, bookbinding and journal making, to quilting and patchwork - and of course I still make cards. This variety keeps me interested - and my crafty stash growing!! I'm always seeking inspiration for new projects.

Day 17 - Football Fan!!

Evening!! Today is apparently the day when people usually give up on their New Year's Resolution. And my OH who encouraged me (and others) to do this image a day thing has chosen it as his day to give up. To be fair, he already completed a year of images in 2014 - and feels that this what he has been doing is all very samey!! But I am going to keep plugging onwards!!
Earlier this month it was my brother-in-law's birthday!! So I made him this easel card with a Kanban image and sentiment called Football Fan!! The papers came free with a Bow Maker magazine, and I used Papermill card for the base.  The little metal studs are cut from a large sheet that I got in The Range. I bought them because they looked different - but it's the first time I've really found anything to use them on. The letters are Die'sire 1" Contemporary Alphabet!!

Back tomorrow!!
