About Me

My photo
I'm a retired primary school teacher, who started paper crafting in 2008, when I had a fancy to make my own Christmas cards. Since then, I have tried all sorts of techniques and styles - and I kind of like them all. I have been lucky enough to be on blog teams and large design teams and to do a bit of freelance demonstrating - and I love the challenge of working with different products. My crafting style is very varied - from junk journaling and art journaling, bookbinding and journal making, to quilting and patchwork - and of course I still make cards. This variety keeps me interested - and my crafty stash growing!! I'm always seeking inspiration for new projects.

Times Gone By ....

.... and it really has!! Don't know if I'm coming or going! Am a bit behind with starting to share my samples for the gorgeous new Times Gone By CD - but better late than never I suppose!

I have decided to start with one of my favourites - and one that is sooo simple to do!! Am hoping the 'Boss' likes it too!!
I bought the bottle from The Range - it was just screaming out to be used for this great vintage collection!! I wrapped a piece of hessian around the bottle, using red liner tape to secure it.

Using Neenah Desert Storm, I printed the Label, the strip of tickets from the Embellishment section, and one of the co-ordinating papers. The little tags are from one of the Card Companions - and I made the larger one with the a piece of the co-ordinating paper. All of these were edged with Vintage Photo DI.

I then got to use my Sentimentals Alphabet stamps for the first time - stamped of course with the Vintage Photo DI.

Really looking forward to the launch of this CD - have a couple more samples to share over the next couple of days!!

Back soon!
