I'm a retired primary school teacher, who started paper crafting in 2008, when I had a fancy to make my own Christmas cards. Since then, I have tried all sorts of techniques and styles - and I kind of like them all. I have been lucky enough to be on blog teams and large design teams and to do a bit of freelance demonstrating - and I love the challenge of working with different products. My crafting style is very varied - from junk journaling and art journaling, bookbinding and journal making, to quilting and patchwork - and of course I still make cards. This variety keeps me interested - and my crafty stash growing!! I'm always seeking inspiration for new projects.

Last call.......

I am still trying to trace Anne Daily - the winner of the Bebunni Celebration stamp from my blog giveaway. Unfortunately, if I don't hear by 3pm today, I will have to redraw. If you know Anne, please ask her to email me her address: mail@papercraftbycarole.co.uk. 

 A quick post this morning. It's taken me a while to get round to sharing this card. Jed and I share a birthday - so it was a few weeks ago that I made this one!!
The image and papers are from Crafter's Companion Angelica and Adam CD. I used the tag to put Jed's name on. The letters were cut using CC 1" Alphabet Dies - as was the number for his age. 

A length of ribbon across the card, more of the same through the tags, and a few buttons finish the card off! 

 Off to do busy things!!
