Things have been hectic recently, with me working full time until the end of term. I'd forgotten how much work was involved in planning etc etc. I also took part in Race for Life last weekend with my 11 year old niece! She's never done it before, but we plodded round in just under 41 minutes!! Was very proud of her and nearly cried when she crossed the finish line.
Because of all the stuff going on, I forgot to photograph the card I made for my lovely sister-in-law! Thankfully, she photographed in a put it onto Facebook, so I have pinched the photo (am sure she won't mind)!
I saw the Hunkydory pack this came from, when out shopping a couple of weeks ago, and knew it was just perfect for her card.
The base card is Creative Expressions cardstock, with the Hunkydory printed cardstock matted onto gold mirror card. I added a little sparkle and shine to the topper with glitter glue and glaze. The organza ribbon is tied around a strip of the card that the toppers popped out of. The letters were cut in gold mirror card using XCut Abracadabra Alphabet dies, and they are mounted onto Spellbinder circles and little Splendid circles. The flourishes are Spellbinder Flourish accents.
The whole feel is really summery - not a bit like the weather we're having!!
Will be back soon with more to share!!
