About Me

My photo
I'm a retired primary school teacher, who started paper crafting in 2008, when I had a fancy to make my own Christmas cards. Since then, I have tried all sorts of techniques and styles - and I kind of like them all. I have been lucky enough to be on blog teams and large design teams and to do a bit of freelance demonstrating - and I love the challenge of working with different products. My crafting style is very varied - from junk journaling and art journaling, bookbinding and journal making, to quilting and patchwork - and of course I still make cards. This variety keeps me interested - and my crafty stash growing!! I'm always seeking inspiration for new projects.

Crafter's Companion February Challenge - Sparkle!!

Hello - back again today with my inspiration for Crafter's Companion's February Challenge. This was just calling out for something from Scruffy Little Cat!
The image is from the CD, along with the papers and sentiment. I then raided my stash of glitter card. I haven't used glitter card for ages!! I love the sparkle - but have to admit to not liking the "mess" that you get with glitter in any form!! I also found several sparkly ribbons - gold, red and gold ric-rac.

The flowers are made using one of the papers and the template from the CD, sprayed with CC Gold Spray and Sparkle. And three Hobby House Sparklers finish it off. I did paint her eyeshadow with Luminart Ice Silks, but it doesn't show up on the photo.

Remember that you don't need to use CC products to enter!! So dig out all your sparkly stuff and really go for it. You can enter your project on the FB page

Happy crafting!!
Cxxx
